SIPs (underlying protected boards) are pre-protected, story-stature boards that can frame part of a structure or entire structures.

The boards are made of either concrete molecule board (CPB) or, all the more regularly for self form, designed wood-based sheets known as situated strand sheets (OSB). Two sheets of this are sandwiched along with an inflexible protection, (for example, polyurethane).

SIPs have warm and sound-protection properties that consent to, or regularly altogether surpass, current Building Regulations and some fuse a vapour controlling layer.
